SW: Cheers *glows with pride* *straightens GoreTex tie* - one does one's best

PG: I agree about 'Spoons and hope I didn't come across as critical. I've always had a decent pint there and they are reliable across the range of what they offer. For one thing there's a reasonable chance of getting a seat...
Unlike say Starbucks (who apparently drive out 0ther coffee places through aggressive practices) I think they offer an alternative to more traditional pubs and help keep some of the smaller town centres alive.

A lot of people knock Wetherspoon but I think there are okay. Basically they do what they say on the label. No more no less.

Entertaining as always, Mister Roy. Beer-to-beer! So much more refreshing to read than gear-to-gear (yawn). You are the very Iain Sinclair of the blogging world. Keep up the good work!
